We
Offer 2 South Shore Boat Trips Per Day ~ 7 Days A Week. All of the dives on our Boat Trips are Guided Tours led by a Divemaster and our groups are small – no more then 7 divers to 1 Divemaster. All of our Divemasters are actually Instructors and most of them are Master Scuba Diver Trainers or higher, so you’re in good hands. If you don’t have a buddy, no worries, we’ll match you up with someone or you will be the Divemasters official buddy. If you need gear, we have you covered there as well. We have high quality SCUBAPRO gear and dive computers for all of our Boat Diving guests. We can outfit you with everything you need from head to toe. We also shoot Digital Video on every dive as a keepsake of your underwater adventure here on Kauai. Videos are available for purchase in either VHS or DVD format. The MORNING TRIP meets at 7:30am in our Poipu shop. This trip is for good divers, you don’t have to be an expert, but sometimes we’ll do a drift dive in the morning so good buoyancy control is necessary to perform a safety stop, hovering at 15 feet for 3 minutes. The first dive is usually 80-90 feet and the second is 60-70 feet. Dive sites in the morning depend on water quality and customer preference but include, Brennecke’s Ledge, Ice Box, Fastlanes, General Store and Sheraton Caverns. We’re usually back at the shop around noon. Water, juice and cookies are provided. The AFTERNOON TRIP meets at 12:45pm in
our Poipu shop.On this trip we take new divers, divers that haven’t dove for a while and first time divers in the Discover Scuba Diving program. The pace is a little bit slower and the dive sites are a little bit shallower. Both dives in the afternoon are in that 40–60 foot range. The groups are separated by experience, so certified divers have their own group and their own Divemaster and non-certified divers are diving together with their own Divemaster. The afternoon dive sites are also selected according to water conditions and customer preference and include, Nukomoi, Arena, Stonehouse and Sheraton Caverns. We’re usually back at the shop around 5:00pm. Water, juice and cookies provided. Ni’ihau and Lehua Rock Ni’ihau trips are scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays during the normally calmer time of year, which runs from late spring to early autumn. Check in time is 6:00am in our Poipu shop. This Dive is for experienced divers. We often drift one or two dives and the depths are greater then on the South Shore trips. The first dive is usually 100-120 feet, the second is in that 60-80 foot range and the third dive is 40-50 feet. It’s a long day filled with incredible sights above and below the water. We’re usually back to the shop around 6pm. A light breakfast, a large lunch, snacks, water and juice provided. We recommend that you book your Ni’ihau trip in advance.
